Said Chaya to lead lecture on Middle East conflict in Olavarría

Dr. Said Chaya will lead a lecture titled ‘The war in the Middle East: some keys to understanding the conflict’ in Olavarría, Argentina. The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, at 18:00 at the Consejo Profesional de Ciencias Económicas.

Organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of UNICEN, the Regional Nucleus of Sociocultural Studies (NuRES), and the Argentine-Lebanese Cultural Union (UCAL), the talk aims to provide historical, political, and geopolitical analysis of the region. Dr. Chaya, an expert in international relations and political science, noted that while religion is present in the region, the conflict is primarily driven by issues of power and strategic interests.

The session will be moderated by Lic. Magdalena Demarco and Lic. Marcela Guerci.
