SAIE construction exhibition celebrates 60th edition in Bologna

The 60th edition of SAIE, a major construction, design, and systems exhibition, is scheduled to take place in Bologna from October 7 to 10. The event focuses on the “governance of construction,” bringing together institutions and industry associations involved in Italy’s major building projects.

This edition features 567 exhibiting companies and 68 partner associations. The exhibition is organized into four sectors: Design and Digitalization, Construction, Systems, and Services and Media. Key thematic tracks include Infrastructure, Sustainability, Innovation, and People.

The event will include participation from government extraordinary commissioners responsible for reconstruction efforts following the 2016 Central Italy earthquake and recent floods in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Marche. It also addresses projects such as stadium renovations for Euro 2032 and the new “Piano Casa.” The inaugural conference will feature local leaders, including Bologna Mayor Matteo Lepore and Emilia-Romagna Vice President Vincenzo Colla, alongside Infrastructure and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini via video link.
