Saigon Heat nears VBA championship with victory over Hanoi Buffaloes

Saigon Heat has moved within one win of the VBA championship after defeating the defending champions, Hanoi Buffaloes, with a 99-74 victory in the second game of the finals series. The win gives Saigon Heat a 2-0 lead in the series.

Jamal Mayali was named Player of the Game, contributing 25 points, five assists, and a 62% field goal percentage. Saigon Heat utilized an effective defense to neutralize Hanoi Buffaloes' scorers and maintained control in the paint through players such as Nguyen Huynh Phu Vinh, Nyang Wek, and Tim Waale.

Saigon Heat seeks to officially reclaim the VBA title in the next scheduled match at the MLC Arena.
