Saigontourist Group to host inaugural community cycling festival

Saigontourist Group, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Cycling Federation, will host the inaugural ‘Saigontourist Group Community Cycling Festival 2026’ on August 29 and 30, 2026. The event is organized to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day.

The festival features three primary activities: the Saigontourist Group Audax 600 km endurance challenge, a community cycling parade, and the Saigontourist Group Community Cycling Cup 2026. The endurance challenge will involve approximately 150 domestic and international athletes starting from Lam Son Square, covering a 600 km route that extends from central Ho Chi Minh City to Can Gio and other new development areas.

A community parade is scheduled for the morning of August 30, involving over 1,000 participants, including employees, athletes, and local residents, traveling a 5.1 km route through the city center. The initiative aims to combine sports, tourism, and social responsibility while promoting healthy lifestyles and community connection.
