Sailing championships held in Sardinia

The RS21 Team Race Open Italian Championship has concluded in the waters of Gallura, hosted by Marina Cala dei Sardi. The Mandello sul Lario team from the Lega Navale Italiana secured the title after three days of competition involving practice races, round robins, semifinals, and finals. The Garda team, supported by the Scuole Sacra Famiglia di Brenzone, took second place, while the local Yacht Club Cala dei Sardi finished third.

Separately, the second edition of the Trofeo dei Circoli, an offshore sailing circuit involving nautical clubs from Northeast Sardinia, has officially commenced. The season opened with the CNO Challenge – Memorial Bepi Carlini, sponsored by the Circolo Nautico Olbia. Twenty boats participated in a 10.5-mile coastal course from Marina di Puntaldia to the Gulf of Olbia. The circuit features ten stages scheduled throughout the winter season.
