Various sailing clubs in Germany recently held community events. At the Neuländer See, the Segelvereinigung Sinstorf e. V. (SVGS) hosted a formal boat christening ceremony to introduce new equipment for its members and youth training programs.

In Schwerin, the Schweriner Segler-Verein von 1894 e. V. held its 31st annual wooden boat regatta. The event featured 28 wooden boats, including Jollenkreuzer and a 1938 Z-Jolle from Austria. Despite stormy weather on the first day, participants completed three races on Sunday under improved conditions.
