Sailing regattas held in Ravenna and Trieste

Various sailing regattas are taking place across Italy. In Ravenna, the Trofeo Mosaico concludes with the Regata dello Scoglio at the Centro Velico Punta Marina. This amateur circuit involves approximately one hundred participants using dinghies and catamarans, featuring various clubs including Bagno Giada, Bagno Baloo, and the Circolo Velico Adriatico Wind Club.

In the Gulf of Trieste, a weekend of sailing events is underway. The Trofeo Baron Banfield Over 60, organized by the Yacht Club Adriaco, featured crews with helmsmen aged 60 and older. This is followed by the 38th Coppa dei Due Fari, which serves as the start of the LNI Trieste Grand Prix. This new circuit, a collaboration between the Trieste section of the Lega Navale Italiana, asd InsiVela, and Cral Insiel, aims to prepare fleets for the upcoming Barcolana regatta in October. The Grand Prix also includes the Primo Bordo – No Borders project, which introduces sailing and marine ecology to youth from the Serbian community in Trieste.
