Sailors report unexplained glowing objects over the Atlantic

Sailors traveling east across the Atlantic, approximately 400 miles south of Nova Scotia, reported encountering several glowing, unidentified objects. According to a submission to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) dated October 11, the crew observed the phenomenon for roughly 40 minutes during clear nighttime conditions.

Witnesses described a single orb appearing 12 to 16 miles away that moved with erratic flight paths, rising, falling, and occasionally accelerating at what they characterized as hypersonic speeds. Three to four additional identical orbs later appeared, moving in no set pattern.

Despite the visual sightings through binoculars, the vessel’s radar showed no targets or contacts that would indicate the presence of objects in the sky. The ship was traveling at approximately 20 mph and reported no other maritime traffic in the area at the time of the encounter.
