Saimbeyli municipality builds road to provide ambulance access for local family

In the Saimbeyli district of Adana, a new road has been constructed to provide vehicle and ambulance access to the Himmetli neighborhood, resolving a long-standing isolation issue for the Nuri İnce family. The family, which includes a bedridden individual, previously had to transport patients using handcarts and blankets due to the lack of accessible paths.

Following a social media appeal, Saimbeyli Mayor Mahmut Dal coordinated with the local village head and landowners to facilitate the project. Local residents cooperated by allowing the road to pass through their private properties. Municipal teams worked for 19 days to build retaining walls and level the terrain, transforming a difficult pedestrian path into a road suitable for vehicle traffic.

The project ensures that emergency medical services can now reach the area, providing critical safety and relief for the residents.
