Saimbeyli Municipality launches neighborhood house project

The Saimbeyli Municipality in Adana has launched a project to construct muhtar (neighborhood head) houses in 28 neighborhoods. These 21-square-meter structures are built using a steel carcass and wood design, prioritizing earthquake resistance and rapid assembly.

Mayor Mahmut Dal stated that 13 of these houses are already operational. Beyond administrative functions, the buildings are designed for multi-purpose use, including providing local health services. Doctors from state hospitals and health centers have begun using these facilities to examine residents, offering a clean and accessible space for community needs.
