SAIME details first-time ID card process for minors in Venezuela

The Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME) has detailed the procedure for children and adolescents to apply for their first identity card in Venezuela. The process must be managed by a legal representative through the official SAIME web portal.

The procedure involves six steps: accessing the system with a username and password, selecting the specific module for first-time minor identification, registering personal data and birth certificate information, assigning an accompanying adult and home address, verifying all data, and finally selecting an appointment and office to download the digital form. The institution emphasized that this service is entirely free of charge.
