Saime office in Guasdualito enters final renovation phase

The Saime (Servicio Administrativo de Identificación, Migración y Extranjería) office in Guasdualito, located in the José Antonio Páez municipality of Apure state, is entering the final phase of technical renovations.

Work currently focuses on roof waterproofing, the installation of drainage systems and channels, electrical connections, and septic system improvements. The project also includes the construction of new service cubicles designed to house automated platforms for processing identity cards and passports.

The renovation is being coordinated between the Governor of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, and the Mayor of Páez, José Ángel Ramírez, following technical inspections by Saime Director General Hendrick José Perdomo Colmenares. Once completed, the facility will reactivate identity and migration services in the border region, aiming to optimize response times for the local population.
