Saint-Brieuc hosts third annual scallop festival

The third edition of the scallop festival is taking place on October 10 and 11, 2026, at the Port du Légué in Saint-Brieuc. Organized by the association Pêche d’Armor in partnership with Cobrenord, Celtarmor, and the Saint-Brieuc Bay Tourism Office, the event celebrates the opening of the scallop fishing season.

Activities include direct sales of whole scallops starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, culinary demonstrations by various local chefs, an artisan market, and food trucks. A culinary competition featuring a child-adult duo event will be held on Sunday, overseen by Meilleur Ouvrier de France Alain Le Cossec.
