Saint Cyprian and Saint Justina feast day observed
October 15 marks the religious feast day of Saint Cyprian and Saint Justina. According to tradition, Cyprian was a powerful sorcerer in ancient Antioch who attempted to use magic to force a woman named Justina to fall in love with a wealthy young man.
Justina successfully resisted these magical attempts through her faith and prayer. This encounter led Cyprian to renounce his practice of black magic, burn his books, and convert to Christianity, eventually becoming a bishop. The two were later martyred in the late 3rd century.
Believers observe this day by reciting specific prayers intended to provide protection against negative energy, envy, and witchcraft.
