Saint-Denis Mayor protests Rassemblement National congress
Bally Bagayoko, the mayor of Saint-Denis, participated in a demonstration in Orléans to protest against the Rassemblement National (RN) party and its congress. Speaking at the event, Bagayoko rejected labels of being 'casseurs' (rioters), stating instead that protesters are 'defenders of the Republic' fighting against racism, fascism, and imperialism.
Bagayoko emphasized the importance of mass mobilization to oppose the far-right strategy of establishing a stronghold in the region. He asserted that protesters are standing up for the values of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, and vowed to stand in the way of hate speech and far-right ideologies.
