Saint-Gilles and Nantes implement local measures for All Saints' Day
In Saint-Gilles, the bullfighting season concludes with the All Saints' Day festivities running until November 8. The event features Camargue traditions, including prestigious bullfighting races, abrivados, and the 69th Gland d’Or Trophy. A significant highlight includes the farewell of Escapaïre, a notable bull from the Saliérène manade, during the Biche d’Argent Trophy final on October 31.
In Nantes, municipal authorities have increased services at local cemeteries through November 1 to accommodate All Saints' Day visitors. Cemeteries will remain open from 8:00 to 20:00, with staff present at several locations including Bouteillerie, Miséricorde, and Saint-Jacques. Electric carts will be available at Cimetière Parc for those with mobility issues. Authorities have also issued warnings regarding vehicle thefts and the theft of flowers or metal objects from graves during this period.
