Saint-Gilles murder investigation launched after woman's body found in vineyard

An investigation for murder has been opened following the discovery of a partially burned woman's body in a vineyard in Saint-Gilles, Gard. The body was found by an agricultural worker on Wednesday morning.

Cécile Gensac, the prosecutor of Nîmes, confirmed that the victim's identity has not yet been established. An autopsy is scheduled to proceed with the investigation led by the Gard gendarmerie.
