Saint-Gobain and Microsoft partner to advance sustainable construction via AI

Saint-Gobain has entered into a strategic agreement with Microsoft to accelerate the group's digital transformation through artificial intelligence and cloud technology. The partnership aims to drive productivity, enhance customer experience, and speed up the development of net-zero emission building innovations.

The collaboration will combine Saint-Gobain's industrial expertise with Microsoft's digital capabilities to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption across the group's production units. Additionally, the agreement explores how Saint-Gobain can support the expansion of Microsoft's global data center network by providing integrated solutions, such as prefabricated sandwich panels, low-carbon concrete additives, and high-performance cooling system piping, designed to ensure faster and more resilient construction with a lower carbon footprint.
