Saint John's University announces 2026-27 basketball and hockey schedules

Saint John's University has released its athletic schedules for the 2026-27 season for both basketball and hockey.

The men's basketball team will play nine non-conference opponents, including trips to Wisconsin-Superior, Hartford, and Western Connecticut State. The team is also scheduled for an exhibition game against St. Cloud State on October 29. In conference play, the Johnnies will participate in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) under a four-year trial featuring a 16-game schedule.

The hockey team's schedule features 11 home games at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The season begins with a neutral-site series against Marian on October 30-31. Notable matchups include an outdoor game against Bethel on Thanksgiving Eve and series against WIAC opponents such as Wisconsin-Stout and Wisconsin-River Falls.
