Saint John's University golf teams head into weekend competitions

Saint John's University golf teams are scheduled for competition this weekend. The men's team, the Johnnies, will host their annual fall invitational on September 26-27. Matches will take place at St. Cloud C.C. in St. Cloud on Saturday and at Blackberry Ridge G.C. in Sartell on Sunday. Participating teams include Augsburg, Bethel, Carleton, Concordia-Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus, Macalester, Manitoba, St. Olaf, and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Meanwhile, the St. John's women's golf team will compete in the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club. The 54-hole event, featuring 13 teams including Ivy League programs such as Harvard, Yale, and Columbia, was moved to Friday and Saturday due to anticipated inclement weather. The Red Storm roster includes Lily Huynh, Chiara Pecchinotti, Laura Mizlerova, Taylor Hale, Pihla Pennanen, and Kirsten Lee.
