Saint-Lambert Church in Vagney launches restoration fundraiser
A fundraising campaign has been launched to save the Saint-Lambert Church in Vagney, France. Listed as a historical monument, the building requires significant restoration work to ensure its long-term preservation.
The first phase of the project will focus on repairing the framework, partially renewing the roof and zinc work, and treating the building's structure. To fund these efforts, the Syndicat des Biens Indivis—representing the communes of Basse-sur-le-Rupt, Gerbamont, Sapois, Vagney, and Le Syndicat—is partnering with the Fondation du patrimoine.
The campaign is calling for contributions from local residents, businesses, associations, and heritage enthusiasts. Donors may be eligible for tax benefits under current regulations.
