Saint-Laurent-du-Var hosts 8th Salon du Polar festival

The 8th edition of the Salon du Polar will take place in Saint-Laurent-du-Var on October 10 and 11, 2026, at the Salle Louis Deboulle. The festival features thirty crime and thriller authors for book signings, alongside investigative games and escape rooms.

Olivier Bal serves as the festival patron, presenting his latest work, ‘Le piège’. Criminologist Alain Bauer is the guest of honor, scheduled to discuss his book regarding the Epstein case. The event will also include a reading by Michel Boujenah, who will perform excerpts from the San-Antonio series. While most of the festival offers free entry, the opening reading session requires a paid ticket.
