Saint Laurent unveils gold-themed Spring-Summer 2027 collection
Anthony Vaccarello marked his tenth anniversary as the creative director of Saint Laurent with the Spring-Summer 2027 collection. The show, held in Paris, centered on the theme of gold, a color historically significant to the house and favored by founder Yves Saint Laurent.
The collection utilized various textures and materials to express different shades of gold, including lamé, organza, metallic cotton, and gold-leafed latex. The designs integrated historical Saint Laurent staples, such as the saharienne and trench coats, with Vaccarello’s modern signatures like powerful shoulders and voluminous silhouettes.
Moving away from his typical dark color palette, the presentation transitioned from bright gold tones toward black, symbolizing a decade of creative evolution that balances the brand's heritage with contemporary luxury.
