Saint Levant discusses musical identity and personal aspirations

Palestinian-Algerian artist Saint Levant, born Marwan Abdelhamid, has shared insights into his musical philosophy and personal aspirations during an interview on the ‘My Story’ podcast with Mohammad Kais.

Addressing his vocal abilities, Saint Levant stated, “I don’t have a voice—I admit that—but the art I create isn’t built on vocals; it’s built on my ideas.” He explained that his work focuses on storytelling, identity, and artistic vision, blending R&B, rap, and pop across Arabic, English, and French. His music often explores themes of love, alienation, and belonging, rooted in his multicultural background.

On a personal note, the singer expressed a desire to marry and start a family, envisioning a life in a village or near the sea in Palestine or the Levant. He also discussed his musical interests, including a potential collaboration with Sherine Abdel Wahab and his work with Haifa Wehbe.
