Saint-Louis feast observed in Mauritius and Haiti

In Mirebalais, Haiti, the traditional patronal feast of Saint-Louis Roi de France also took place on August 25. However, the festivities were marked by the presence of armed groups who controlled various sectors of the city and organized public celebrations with music and dancing. The event occurred in a city largely deserted by residents due to the ongoing influence of armed gangs, despite previous theoretical agreements regarding the withdrawal of such groups.
