Saint Lucia named top island on Expedia’s 2026 Hot List

Saint Lucia has been named the number one island on Expedia’s 2026 Hot List. The announcement was made during the Saint Lucia Showcase International event, which concluded with a gala dinner.

Tourism Minister Dr Ernest Hilaire accepted the award on behalf of the country. Officials stated that the recognition reflects the island's increasing popularity among international travelers and highlights its natural beauty, culture, and hospitality. The award was presented by Expedia Group representatives Nuno Sales da Ponte and Miguelina Cespedes.
