Saint Maxire community organizes solidarity Christmas boxes

A community initiative in Saint Maxire is organizing the preparation of 'Boîtes de Noël Solidaire' (Solidarity Christmas Boxes) to support individuals facing precarious situations. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM at the hall opposite the church.

Participants are encouraged to assemble cardboard boxes containing five specific items: a warm piece of clothing in perfect condition, a new hygiene or wellness product, a non-perishable snack, a small cultural or ludic item such as a book or game, and a handwritten note or card.

The completed boxes, wrapped in gift paper and labeled by recipient type (man, woman, mixed, or child), will be sent to the CSC of Champdeniers and distributed by Restos du Cœur to local residents during festive events.
