Saint Nicholas running festivals announced in Toruń and Wieliczka

Two upcoming Saint Nicholas running events have been announced in Poland. In Toruń, the 24th Saint Nicholas Running Festival is scheduled for December 6, 2026. The event features various distances, including 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and a half marathon, alongside a 5 km Nordic Walking option. All distances are also available in a virtual format. This year’s theme, “Run in the Footsteps of Saint Nicholas!”, is reflected in a medal shaped like a running shoe print. The festival also includes the “Saint Nicholas for Children” charity initiative.

In Wieliczka, organizers are preparing for the second edition of the Wieliczka Saint Nicholas Run following its successful debut in 2025. The event, which features participants in festive costumes, is part of the town’s Christmas Market celebrations. The previous edition included a 5 km route starting from the Market Square and ending at the Salt City.
