Saint-Vallier officials host reception to open local fair

Mayor Alain Philibert and local officials in Saint-Vallier held a reception to officially open the local fair, which runs until October 11. During the meeting, the mayor expressed support for the fairground workers, noting the professional difficulties the industry currently faces. To support the event, the municipality has decided not to charge the fairground operators any placement fees.

Julie Perrier, president of the Saint-Vallier en fête association, highlighted efforts to maintain the festival through various attractions, including mascots and a garage sale. Jean-Paul Lecoeur and other representatives noted that while the welcome in Saint-Vallier is positive, the profession remains in a difficult position.
