Saint Vincent and the Grenadines entrepreneurs featured at Taiwan sustainability expo

Entrepreneurs from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines were featured at the fifth Asia-Pacific Forum and Exposition for Sustainability, known as SDG-Asia, held in Taipei from August 27 to 29.

The event, hosted at the Taipei World Trade Center by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, focused on the theme “Shape Our Future: Resilience, Innovation, Prosperity.” The exhibition brought together various sectors, including government, business, healthcare, and civil society, to discuss sustainable development and exchange ideas.

The Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Taiwan promoted the nation by highlighting the work of local entrepreneurs, including Alshika Latham of Shika’s Treats, Josuane Edwards of Hair by Jusone, and Shanika Pratt of S-Class Stylist. The Embassy stated that the participation helped create a distinct national presence and showcased the skills of Vincentian nationals working in Taiwan.
