Sait Velioğlu, a resident of the Yeniyalı neighborhood in Körfez known locally as ‘Oflu Sait’, passed away after falling ill while visiting relatives in the Of district of Trabzon. Following medical intervention at Trabzon State Hospital, Velioğlu could not be saved.
Velioğlu, a father of two, was laid to rest in the Belen Village Cemetery following a funeral service held at the Yeniyalı Central Mosque. The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and many local citizens, including alumni from the Kocaeli 1972 Imam Hatip High School.
