Saitama businesses announce new openings and closures

Various retail and dining establishments in Saitama Prefecture are undergoing changes, including several closures and new openings scheduled for August 2026.

In Amagasaki, the standing bar ‘Shouraku’ is set to open on August 27 at Tachibana Joy Town, occupying the former site of the seafood restaurant ‘Uodun’. In Tokorozawa, the Malatang restaurant ‘Nanaki Malatang’ will hold its grand opening on August 23 at the Hakataya Building.

Several businesses have announced upcoming closures. In Kawagoe, the specialty food shop ‘Motsuni no Matsui’ and the traditional house restaurant ‘Isanuan’ are both scheduled to close on August 23. In Iruma, the fashion brand ‘ATTACHMENT’ at Mitsui Outlet Park Iruma will cease operations on August 29. Additionally, the fruit parlor ‘Melon no Shippo’ in Seibu Tokorozawa S.C. is slated to close on August 31.
