Saitama Prefecture celebrates Prefectural Day with various discounts

Various businesses and transportation providers in Saitama Prefecture are offering special promotions to mark Prefectural Day on November 14.

Five railway operators, including Tobu Railway, Seibu Railway, Chichibu Railway, Saitama Rapid Railway, and Saitama New Urban Transit, will release commemorative free pass tickets. These passes allow for unlimited travel on designated lines within the prefecture for a set period or on the day itself, with prices varying by provider.

Additionally, the Hakone Kowakien Yunessun hot spring theme park in Kanagawa Prefecture is hosting a campaign titled “Spontaneous Saitama Resident Discount!” to coincide with the occasion. From November 14 to November 20, residents of Saitama can access discounted admission to the facility, with special one-day pricing for adults and children available on November 14.
