Saitama Prefecture to host free gender‑education lecture on 19 September 2026

On 19 September 2026, the Saitama Prefecture Gender Equality Promotion Center (With You Saitama) will hold a diversity lecture titled “Gender Education for the Happiness of Children and Adults – Rethinking Masculinity in Schools and Society”.

The event is free, limited to 120 participants on a first‑come, first‑served basis, and open to anyone. Registrations open electronically on 4 August and will close when capacity is reached.

Services include childcare (300 yen per child, ages 6 months to third grade) and sign‑language interpretation (requests due by 4 September). The lecture will be delivered by gender‑education practitioner Shunji Hoshino.

Recordings will be made available online from 29 September to 28 October for those who pre‑register.
