Saito Brothers to defend World Tag Team titles in Sendai

All Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference for the upcoming World Tag Team Championship match scheduled for October 11 at the Sendai Sun Plaza Hall. The reigning champions, the Saito Brothers (Jun and Rei Saito), are set to defend their titles against the challengers, known as “W Yuma” (Yuma Aoyagi and Yuma Anzai).

Challenger Yuma Anzai was absent from the conference due to scheduling conflicts, submitting a written statement expressing his excitement for the match. His partner, Yuma Aoyagi, attended alone, noting that he has not spoken to Anzai since the semi-finals of the Odo Tournament. The Saito Brothers criticized the lack of communication, suggesting the challengers' spirits are already divided.

Aoyagi expressed confidence in winning the match but voiced concerns regarding the popularity gap between the competitors. He noted that defeating the Saito Brothers in their home region of Miyagi might be difficult due to the champions' local popularity and potential impact on attracting new fans.
