Saiyami Kher and Vikram Phadnis premiere film at Melbourne festival

Actor Saiyami Kher and director Vikram Phadnis attended the premiere of the film ‘Pal Bhar Ke Liye’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. The film marks Phadnis’s first Hindi directorial venture.

Kher portrays a modern, ambitious fashion photographer based in Mumbai. She described the character as her most contemporary role to date, noting that the story follows a woman who loses control over her life and subsequently realizes the importance of family. Kher expressed that the emotional depth of the narration had a significant personal impact on her.

The film also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Vineet Kumar Singh. Kher noted that the project reunites her with Bhasin following their work in ‘Special Ops Season 2’ and Singh after their collaboration in ‘Jaat’.
