Saizeriya to implement price increases starting October 29
Saizeriya, the Japanese family restaurant chain, has announced a price revision scheduled for October 29. The company will implement an average price increase of 6% across its menu. Specifically, the signature ‘Milano-style Doria’ will rise from 300 yen to 320 yen, while items currently priced at 400 yen are expected to increase to between 420 and 430 yen.
In certain urban areas and locations near leisure facilities, 24 specific stores will see a higher average increase of 10%. However, prices for ‘fresh wine’, lunch sets, and morning-exclusive menus will remain unchanged.
The company stated that the decision was made to maintain product quality and ensure a stable supply, as it can no longer absorb rising raw material and energy costs. Saizeriya had previously maintained its prices despite recent inflation, a move that has drawn both appreciation and surprise from consumers.
