Saška Bojić opens X-ray inspired art exhibition in Cetinje

Artist Saška Bojić has opened a new exhibition titled ‘Deconstruction as a Path of Figure Interpretation from X-ray to Artistic Print’ at the Cetinje Cultural Center Gallery. The collection features seven graphic works that utilize X-ray imagery as a foundation for artistic exploration.

Using techniques such as linocut and aquatint, Bojić deconstructs and reassembles parts of real human body scans to create new representations of the human figure. The artist stated her intention is to allow viewers to interpret the works in their own unique ways, noting that by merging X-ray images, she has attempted to create ‘new people’ and a new form of visual expression.

The exhibition was selected through a public competition for established artists residing in Montenegro and is part of the center’s 2026 program. It will remain open to the public until August 30.
