Sakai City Youth House hosts summer festival with music and workshops

The Sakai City Youth House in Minami Ward, Sakai, held its third annual summer festival on July 26. The event featured a variety of activities including music, workshops, and games designed for local youth and families.

A highlight of the festival was a music festival produced by the Senboku High School Light Music Club, which brought together 18 high school bands from six different schools in the Minami Kawachi district to perform rock music.

Other attractions included a balloon maze workshop, a robot assembly and sumo wrestling class, and an e-sports corner featuring ‘Taiko no Tatsujin’ that drew over 180 participants in the morning alone. The event also included a bazaar and various festival stalls.
