SAKAMOTO DAYS anime season 2 set for January 2027 premiere

The second season of the anime series ‘SAKAMOTO DAYS’ has been officially scheduled to premiere in January 2027. Following the success of the first season on Netflix, the production will continue under TMS Entertainment.

New promotional materials have been released, including a character PV featuring new characters such as Shu, Etsuko Satoda, and Yotsumura. A new teaser visual, referred to as the ‘Other Version’, depicts protagonists Taro Sakamoto and Shin Asakura in combat-ready poses.

Production changes include Daisuke Nakajima taking over as director, while Masaki Watanabe will transition to the role of chief director. Key creative staff, including character designer Yo Moriyama and series compositor Taku Kishimoto, are set to return.
