Sakarya water rescues involve family and boat capsizing
Multiple water-related rescue incidents occurred in the Sakarya province of Turkey. In the Karasu district, a mother and her two children were swept away by strong currents at Kule 17 beach. Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality lifeguard teams responded using a jet ski to rescue the family from the Black Sea waves. Following a medical check on the shore, all three family members were reported to be in good health.
In a separate incident in the Kaynarca district, a fiber boat capsized at Reisler Pond. Two youths who fell into the water were rescued with the help of local citizens and emergency services. Both individuals were transported to Kaynarca State Hospital, where they were reported to be in good condition. An investigation into the boating accident has been launched.
