Sakata City continues search for missing 6-year-old boy

Search operations continue in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, for a 6-year-old boy, Yuto Takahashi, who has been missing for 10 days. The child was last seen on September 5 near his home and a local park.

Authorities have utilized various methods to locate him, including the deployment of underwater drones to search rivers and the Sakata Kita Port area. Due to recent poor weather conditions, recent efforts have shifted toward door-to-door inquiries and searching near local parks rather than river searches.

Yuto Takahashi is described as being approximately 120 cm tall with short black hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy and red Spider-Man patterned jumpsuit over a undershirt with his name written in hiragana. He was not wearing shoes.
