Saket Court orders Gurugram Police to produce records in Yuvraj Manchanda murder case

Delhi’s Saket Court has ordered the Gurugram Police to produce all records, forensic evidence, and documentation regarding the murder of 31-year-old real estate professional Yuvraj Singh Manchanda by September 22.

The judicial directive follows an application by Manchanda’s sister, who alleged procedural lapses and expressed concerns that vital forensic evidence and personal belongings were mishandled or destroyed during an “extraordinarily hasty” cremation. The court has mandated the submission of official police logs, forensic reports, DNA samples, biological material, and digital evidence, including surveillance footage and call data records.

Delhi Police previously arrested two suspects, Anya Vats and Sanyam Sachdeva, in connection with the case. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to the murder and stated that the body had been disposed of in the Badshahpur area of Gurugram. Manchanda, a sales manager at Adani Realty, had been reported missing on September 11 after disappearing following a dinner in Lajpat Nagar.
