Sakis Rouvas and Katia Zougoulis take son to Crete hospital after forehead injury

On Wednesday, 29 July, Greek singer Sakis Rouvas and his wife Katia Zougoulis were on holiday in Crete with their four children when their son suffered a lacerated wound to his forehead. The boy was taken to the emergency department of Saint Nicholas Hospital in Crete, where doctors provided immediate care. The parents remained at his bedside throughout the treatment.

After the injury was treated and the child was declared stable, the family left the hospital and returned to their hotel in Elounda. During the stay the couple posted photos and a short video of the scenery on social media, and also used the occasion to respond to recent breakup rumors by sharing vacation pictures.

The incident was reported by Greek media outlets and highlighted the family’s brief medical emergency before they resumed their holiday.
