Sakıp Sabancı Museum celebrates 10th anniversary of Müzede Sahne festival
The Sakıp Sabancı Museum (SSM) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its 'Müzede Sahne' performing arts event from August 27 to 30. Supported by the Sabancı Foundation, the festival is organized under the artistic direction of Ayşe Draz with the theme 'Transformation through Games.'
The program will take place across the museum's garden and various other locations, featuring a mix of theatrical plays, performances, and workshops. Key productions include Moda Sahnesi’s 'Bir Kadının Kavgalı ve Dönüşümleri,' Artalan Kolektif’s 'Yıldız,' and adaptations of William Shakespeare’s work. Other featured works include '9/8'lik Kıyamet,' Şule Ateş’s 'Şazan Meclisi,' Melih Kıraç’s 'Yakın Zamanın Kaybı,' and Begüm Erciyas’s 'Letters from Attica.'
The event is designed to engage in dialogue with the ongoing 'Yoko Ono: Inner Voice and Inner Structure' exhibition, focusing on audience participation, the relationship between body and sound, and the use of space as a stage.
