Sakurazaka46 and Naniwa Danshi top Oricon music video charts

Japanese music groups Sakurazaka46 and Naniwa Danshi have achieved significant success on the Oricon weekly music video charts.

Sakurazaka46's latest video release, ‘5th YEAR ANNIVERSARY LIVE at MUFG STADIUM’, secured first place on the Oricon Weekly Music DVD/Blu-ray ranking, marking the group's sixth time reaching the top spot. The release, which documents their 5th-anniversary concert at the National Stadium that drew 140,000 attendees, sold a total of 23,000 copies.

Naniwa Danshi also reached the top of the charts with their ‘2025 BON BON VOYAGE’ tour concert video. The release debuted at number one on the Oricon Weekly DVD, Blu-ray, and combined Music DVD/Blu-ray rankings. This achievement marks the group's fifth consecutive video release to sweep all three categories simultaneously, a record-breaking feat for the group during their fifth anniversary year.
