Sakurazaka46 idol Yuzuki Nakashima commutes 1,000 km daily for studies

Yuzuki Nakashima, a member of the Japanese girl group Sakurazaka46, has revealed a rigorous daily commuting schedule to balance her music career with her university studies. Because she lives and works in Tokyo but attends a university in Fukuoka, she travels approximately 1,000 km every day.

Her routine begins at 5:00 AM, involving a flight from Haneda Airport to Kitakyushu Airport, followed by ground transportation to her campus. The round-trip commute takes over four hours daily and costs approximately 15,000 yen per day. Nakashima has maintained this schedule for four years, using travel time to study and complete assignments before returning to Tokyo for group rehearsals and entertainment activities.
