Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez featured in viral stories involving stylist and influencer

Mexican boxer Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez has been the subject of recent viral stories involving his inner circle and social media interactions.

Jayroystylez, a long-time stylist for Álvarez, revealed that he has tattooed the boxer’s signature onto his leg. The stylist had the boxer sign his skin with a marker before working with a tattoo artist to make the mark permanent. This gesture comes as Álvarez prepares for a scheduled bout against Christian Mbilli in Saudi Arabia on October 31.

Separately, influencer Paulo Chavira recently lost money in a challenge involving the boxer. Chavira attempted to land a punch on Álvarez in a gym setting under a bet where he would receive $20,000 for every successful hit but would owe $1,000 for every miss. After three failed attempts, Chavira lost $3,000. This follows a previous incident in September 2025, where Chavira lost $100,000 betting on Álvarez to defeat Terence Crawford.
