SAL Logistics Services Company acquires AviapartnerLiège

SAL Logistics Services Company, a Saudi Arabian freight handling and logistics provider, has completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of AviapartnerLiège SA. The transaction, valued at approximately €28 million, was financed through SAL's own funds following all necessary regulatory approvals.

This acquisition marks the first operational presence for the Saudi-based logistics firm outside of the Kingdom, expanding its total network to 20 locations. The move is intended to create strategic synergies in air freight handling, special cargo processing, warehouse logistics, and European road freight.

AviapartnerLiège operates at Liège Airport, Europe's fifth-largest cargo hub, which manages an annual cargo volume of over 1 million tons. The location is part of the European cargo 'Golden Triangle' and offers significant advantages such as 24/7 operations and an absence of night flight restrictions.
