Sala Russafa launches sixteenth season of performing arts

Sala Russafa has launched its sixteenth season as a center for the production, training, and exhibition of performing arts. The new season begins with a collaboration with the Russafa Escènica – Festival de Tardor.

Key upcoming productions include the tragicomedy ‘Las que tiran del carro’, a production by Patio de Vecinas and Frescultura that pays tribute to women involved in neighborhood struggles during the 1960s and 1970s. Additionally, the season features the premiere of ‘Ahlam, soñar con una vida’, a production by the Spanish Committee of UNRWA in collaboration with Hermanas Picohueso, which tells the stories of Palestinian refugee women in Lebanon.

The ‘Alcem el teló’ special programming will also feature ‘El verano en que mi madre tuvo los ojos verdes’ by A de Ardilla Producciones and the musical comedy ‘Un día feliz’. The season includes family-oriented plays, stand-up comedy cycles, and touring productions such as ‘El perfume del tiempo’.
